Frequently asked.
What statements do I need to upload?
PDF statements for any credit card you use for business expenses. We recommend 2–6 months per card. One file per card per month is ideal. The more data you provide, the more accurate your strategy will be.
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. Your statements are processed only during your active session and never stored on any server. Statement issuers already redact sensitive details before you receive them. We extract spend category totals only — nothing more.
How is this different from comparing cards online?
Generic card comparison sites recommend cards based on average spend profiles. RewardGap analyzes your actual statement data — the specific amounts, in the specific categories your business spends — and builds a strategy precisely calibrated to your real spend patterns.
What if my business uses store cards or airline cards?
Our database includes store cards (Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, Sam's Club, Costco) and all major airline co-branded cards (Delta, Southwest, United, American Airlines). We'll factor in caveats like regional availability and reward redemption restrictions so you get the full picture.
How does the guarantee work?
Our guarantee is built into the payment process itself — not a refund policy. We place a $497 authorization hold on your card before the analysis runs. If we find less than $1,000 in additional annual rewards on your current spend, the hold is released automatically and your card is never charged. You only pay when we find real results.
Do I need to change how much I spend?
No. The entire premise of RewardGap is finding more reward on the spend you're already making. We don't recommend spending more — we recommend spending smarter on what you're already buying every month.
How long does the analysis take?
Once you upload your statements, the analysis runs in minutes. Your full strategy — including the breakdown, recommendations, and email report — is ready before you'd finish a cup of coffee.
What size business is this for?
RewardGap works best for businesses spending $5,000–$500,000+ per month on credit cards. The more you spend, the larger the gap we typically find — and the faster the strategy pays for itself.
